I want to be Jeremy Piven when I grow up
I’ll admit I’ve got a bit of a man crush on Jeremy Piven. I watch Entourage religiously. And his character Ari Gold is written as pure genius. His snarky one liners are hilarious. Beyond that he just has good style, and I feel like he might even be a cool guy to hang out with in real life. I saw a thing on the travel channel where he traveled around India meeting with spiritual leaders for a TV special.
Anyway, ran across an article talking about a new movie he might be working on. Here are the details from Cinematical:
The movie is titled “The Goods: The Don Ready Story” and will star Piven as “a used-car liquidator hired to save a struggling dealership during a Fourth of July weekend sale.” The comedy will be directed by Neal Brennan — Half Baked writer and Chappelle’s Show co-creator, which should mean good things for the flick.
That has the makings of a good movie. I love the director, and Jeremy Piven is great. Oh, the icing on the cake?
Will Ferrell will stay behind the camera as producer under he and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions.
These are the guys being the hilarious “Landlord” video clip that took the internet by storm a few months ago. I cannot wait.
